Meet Our Staff

Rev Jaime Dickson

Senior Minister

Jaime grew up on Sydney’s north shore. Before entering ministry, he worked as a high school teacher and head of department in Sydney and the United Kingdom. Jaime loves to read, ride his bike, and drink coffee. He is married to Katrina, and together they have three school-aged children.

Jaime commenced at St Philip’s in July 2019. Before that, he served as Senior Minister at Seaforth Anglican Church for almost 9 years. Jaime has overall responsibility for leading the church and the paid ministry team in its mission to commend Christ in our community and the world.

Rev Brian Snell

Associate Minister – Young Adults & 6pm church

Brian grew up in Perth and moved to Sydney in 2011 to study at Moore Theological College. Brian completed his Bachelor of Divinity in 2014 and has ministered in churches on Sydney’s north shore for the last five years. He is married to Kate and they are looking forward to welcoming another child into their young family. Brian loves adventure sports, tinkering with classic cars, watching AFL, and reading books.

Brian will be joining us at St Philip’s in January 2020. He will be the Pastor of our 6pm congregation and will have particular pastoral responsibility for our post school-aged young adults. He will also exercise ministry across the life of the church, regularly preaching and leading services, as well as overseeing our small group ministries.

Tom Israel

K-12 Minister

Tom grew up in Sydney’s northern suburbs and has been a church member, Ministry Intern at St Philip’s since 2010. In January he will join the ministry staff on a  full-time basis. For the past two years, Tom has been studying at Youthworks College and is currently completing his Bachelor of Ministry. In his spare time, he loves talking about, watching, and playing basketball.

Tom will be responsible for overseeing and leading ministries to children and young people in their school-aged years (K-12). Tom is passionate about teaching children and young people about Jesus and helping them navigate their way through all of life.

Sarah Hutt

Ministry Assistant

Sarah is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Communications which she utilises to be organised and efficient in her work. She has found her niche as an Administrator but is also heavily involved in our Music and Youth programs.

When she's not in the office she works as the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Event Cinemas Hornsby or is at home spending time with her dog and listening to or playing music.

Part time: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 

Nick Wood

Associate Minister - Youth & Young Adults

We recently farewelled Nick after five years of fruitful ministry here at St Philip’s. He and his wife, Bek, will be greatly missed. Nick will take up a new position as an Assistant Minister at Church by the Bridge in Kirribilli in January 2020.
